Carwari Organic Black Sesame Flour is a finely milled flour made from 100% certified organic black sesame seeds after the oil has been gently pressed from the seeds. Naturally rich in sesame flavour, it has a deep nutty aroma, a slightly earthy taste and a beautiful dark colour that adds both flavour and visual appeal to sweet and savoury recipes. This versatile gluten-free flour is ideal for baking, smoothies, desserts, pancakes, breads and Japanese-inspired cooking, and contains no additives, preservatives or artificial ingredients.

How to Use

Use as a partial flour replacement in cakes, muffins, pancakes, breads and cookies to add a rich sesame flavour and natural colour. It can also be blended into smoothies, porridge, yoghurt, energy balls, sauces and dessert fillings, or sprinkled over cereal, fruit and baked goods for extra flavour and texture. Because black sesame flour has a strong flavour, start by replacing around 10-20% of regular flour in baking recipes and adjust to taste.
