Core Botanicals - RESPIDEFEN Cough Medicine 200mL

RESPIDEFEN® is a traditional Chinese herbal medicine formulated to relieve coughing and help dissolve and clear phlegm. The formula is traditionally used for mild productive bronchial coughing, bronchial mucous congestion and respiratory tract mucus. It is also traditionally used to relieve dry, unproductive coughing and symptoms of sore throat and mild upper respiratory tract congestion.

How to Use

Adults and children 14+ years: Take 10mL three times daily.

Children 6-14 years: Take 5-10mL three times daily.

Children 2-6 years: Take 2.5-5mL three times daily.

Dilute each dose in 10-30mL of water, juice or milk and consume immediately. Not to be used by children under 2 years of age without medical advice. If symptoms persist, talk to your health professional.

Ingredients

Each 5mL contains concentrated liquid herbal extracts equivalent to 7.5g of dry herbs:

Aster (Aster tataricus) root & rhizome - 500 microlitres, dry equivalent 1g; Balloon Flower (Platycodon grandiflorus) root - 500 microlitres, dry equivalent 1g; Cynanchi (Cynanchum stauntonii) rhizome & root - 500 microlitres, dry equivalent 1g; Japanese Catnip (Schizonepeta tenuifolia) herb - 500 microlitres, dry equivalent 1g; Mulberry (Morus alba) root bark - 500 microlitres, dry equivalent 1g; Stemona (Stemona sessilifolia) root - 500 microlitres, dry equivalent 1g; Pinellia (Pinellia ternata) rhizome - 312.5 microlitres, dry equivalent 625mg; Tangerine Peel (Citrus reticulata) fruit peel - 250 microlitres, dry equivalent 500mg; Liquorice (Glycyrrhiza uralensis) root & rhizome - 187.5 microlitres, dry equivalent 375mg.

Other ingredients: Ethanol 22.5%, spearmint oil and vegetable glycerin.

Storage

Store below 30°C. Do not use if the cap seal is broken. The manufacturer states that RESPIDEFEN is suitable for vegetarians and vegans and contains no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives. It is also listed as non-GMO and free from sugar, gluten, wheat, nuts, dairy and animal products.
