Snotty Noses Co - Snotty Boss Motorised Nasal Aspirator Kit

Snotty Boss Nasal Aspirator is a premium motorised nasal aspirator designed to gently clear mucus from blocked or runny noses in babies, toddlers, children and adults who are unable to blow their own nose. With constant battery-powered suction, the Snotty Boss is designed to remove mucus quickly and comfortably, helping to clear the nasal passages and support easier breathing. The manufacturer states that it is safe to use from birth, including with premature babies, and is TGA registered for home use (ARTG 320144).

The complete kit includes four different nozzle sizes, a large anti-leak collection cup, refillable saline spray bottle, cleaning brush, quad scraper, tweezers and carry bag. The unit is fully washable, reusable and powered by 2 AA batteries, with the manufacturer stating an average of 500-700 uses depending on battery quality.

How to Use

Position the child with their head elevated. Select the largest nozzle that comfortably fits the nostril, then gently insert the nozzle to create a seal. Switch the aspirator on and allow the motorised suction to remove the mucus. For dry or crusty mucus, saline spray can be used beforehand to help loosen it. After use, detach the collection cup and nozzle and rinse with hot water. Use the cleaning brush to clean the internal tubes, then allow all components to dry before reassembling. The manufacturer recommends flushing the motor every 200 uses for general maintenance.

Remove the batteries and store the aspirator in its carry bag during periods of non-use. Clean and dry all washable components after each use. The refillable saline spray bottle should be washed thoroughly with warm water and the cleaning brush; the manufacturer advises not placing it in a steriliser or dishwasher.
